BIOGRAPHY:

Jacob (LMHCA) is a kind and caring mental health counselor passionate about helping you
accomplish your goals. His desire is to come alongside you in your healing journey and help you
deepen your own awareness first and foremost of who you are and what has shaped you, and
who you long to be. Jacob has experience working with those who have experienced a variety
of trauma, anxiety, depression, as well as other combating challenges relationally, primarily
those of a spouse and a parent.

Jacob helps individuals overcome these obstacles through working to help them grow in their
understanding of themselves as well as strengthen different positive core beliefs that shape
each person differently. He works to help clients develop coping skills to handle their day to day
lives as well as diving into deeper struggles that sometimes feel impossible to overcome on our
own, enabling individuals to develop greater self confidence and promote a healthier view of the
self.

Jacob also has experience working with individuals struggling with substance abuse, domestic
abuse, self harm, grief and loss and suicidal ideation. He has also been privileged to support
first responders struggling with different mental and emotional trauma and other symptoms. He
will work to push you as far as you are comfortable, believing that taking this first step into
therapy is just that, a first and courageous step. Jacob works to come alongside you to make
each step you take along the way that much easier, and to encourage and motivate you to keep
moving forward.

Jacob accepts all types of Medicaid, which includes MDWise, Anthem Medicaid, Humana, Hoosier Healthwise (Children’s Health Insurance Plan), Healthy Horizons, Traditional Medicaid, CareSource Medicaid, MHS, Cigna, Aetna, PHP, and EAP insurances. Bethany also accepts a self-pay/sliding scale option.
