BIOGRAPHY:

Darren has over a decade of experience and wants to help people who are looking to pursue some of the most rewarding work of self or relational healing, Darren want to welcome you! Darren wishes to join you into the experiences of the past and present to create a more fulfilling future. Whether you are just starting your counseling journey or you are switching to another provider, Darren is honored to guide you as you navigate your life path. Darren has extensive experience working with depression, anxiety, trauma, and life adjustments.

Darren helps individuals construct new perspectives into self and their relationships through a safe and accepting environment. He will provide an emotionally corrective experience that helps people regulate and contain emotions. Darren helps individuals look at bonding and connecting and brings a sense of security and satisfaction in relationships. Darren is also passionate about supporting individuals through life’s most challenging moments.

In addition to his work with mood and anxiety-related concerns, Darren has experience supporting clients through a wide range of issues, including bipolar disorder, coping with grief and loss, domestic abuse, dual diagnosis, family conflict, substance use, and suicidal ideation. He also works with individuals facing challenges related to parenting, men’s issues, peer and relationship concerns, self-esteem, self-harming behaviors, sexual abuse, spirituality, stress, and trauma—including PTSD. Darren is honored to support first responders, veterans, and others facing complex emotional experiences as they work toward healing and growth. He is also very passionate about promoting ultimate healing in group therapy.

Darren accepts all types of Medicaid’s, which includes MDWise, Anthem Medicaid, Traditional Medicaid, Caresource Medicaid, MHS, Cigna, Aetna, PHP, Anthem BC/BS, United Health Care, Optum Health, Ambetter, Encora, Humana, Lutheran Preferred, Magellan, Medical Mutual, Meritain, Multiplan, New Avenues EAP, Priority Health, Proclaim, Sagamore, Signature Care, Three Rivers Preferred, United Behavioral Health, UMR, Value Options, and many other insurances that are not listed. A self-pay/sliding scale rate is offered to those who do not have health insurance.
