BIOGRAPHY:

Bethany Crostreet is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (LMHCA) and trauma-informed therapist with several years of experience supporting children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families through emotional and relational healing. She is passionate about creating a safe, supportive space where clients can process pain, build resilience, and move toward restoration.

At LifeWorks Counseling & Consulting, Bethany works with clients of all ages and backgrounds. She specializes in couples/marital counseling, complex trauma, PTSD, depression, anxiety, and supporting families in ministry. Her approach is rooted in evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). She is an EMDR-trained therapist. Bethany is known for her warmth, insight, and skillful guidance through life’s most challenging seasons. Whether working with an individual navigating anxiety or a couple seeking deeper connection, Bethany helps clients create lasting change by addressing the root of their struggles and building a path toward healing and hope.

Personally, Bethany enjoys gardening, reading, an authentic conversation over warm coffee, and spending time with family and her dogs.

Bethany accepts all types of Medicaid, which includes MDWise, Anthem Medicaid, Humana, Hoosier Healthwise (Children’s Health Insurance Plan), Healthy Horizons, Traditional Medicaid, CareSource Medicaid, MHS, Cigna, Aetna, PHP, and EAP insurances. Bethany also accepts a self-pay/sliding scale option.
