BIOGRAPHY:

Laura Braun is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (LMHCA) with a heartfelt mission to support women on their journey through some of life’s most difficult challenges. Laura specializes in helping women heal from the devastating effects of domestic violence, emotional and psychological abuse, battery, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Her work is rooted in both clinical expertise and deep personal understanding.

Laura brings a unique empathy and strength to her work with women navigating cancer diagnoses and survivorship. Laura also helps family members navigate through the difficulties of having a loved one diagnosed with cancer.  She is specially trained to walk alongside clients through the emotional and psychological complexities of the cancer experience, offering support, tools, and hope. Laura is very gifted at helping individuals experiencing crisis such as suicidality, self-harm harm and domestic abuse.

Laura’s therapeutic approach draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Solution-Focused Therapy. She empowers her clients to reshape their thinking, process emotions safely, and take actionable steps toward healing. Central to her practice is the belief that lasting change is possible when clients are able to cultivate inner strength and act with intention. Laura encounters clients with warmth, insight, and unwavering support. Lauren is committed to helping each client move toward maximum healing—mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.

Laura accepts all types of Medicaid’s, which includes MDWise, Anthem Medicaid, Humana Healthy Horzines, Traditional Medicaid, Caresource Medicaid, Children’s Health Insurance Plan (CHIP), MHS, Cigna, Aetna, PHP and EAP insurances. Hannah also accepts a self pay/sliding scale option
