Biography:

Sharon Miley is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with over two decades of experience helping individuals, couples, and families navigate life’s most meaningful and challenging moments. Sharon believes in creating a safe, supportive space where people can heal and grow. Sharon specializes in working with a wide range of concerns, including relationship issues, trauma, anxiety, grief, and life transitions. Sharon is a certified EMDR therapist and integrates trauma-informed practices to help clients work through past experiences and move toward a more stable future.

Sharon’s specialty is helping various individuals through EMDR therapy and enjoys seeing clients’ healing journey. EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapy is a structured, evidence-based therapy designed to help people heal from trauma, anxiety, depression, grief/loss, chronic pain, performance anxiety, self-esteem issues, and abuse. and distressing life experiences. She also has a passion for helping individuals navigate difficult family conflicts and desires to restore families. Sharon also enjoys helping couples reunify and develop healthy connection/communication skills and working with couples. Specifically, Sharon is trained in the Gottman treatment modality.

In her personal time, Sharon enjoys watching football, spending time with her children and dog named Charlie Brown, and quoting 80’s music lyrics.

Sharon accepts a variety of insurances. Sharon accepts a sliding fee scale/self pay route as well.
